However, as it is so small I am inclined to agree, just get it paid off - offer them a fiver if you want to, or ignore it. I know what I'd do - it'll cost more than the debt to pursue this in court - if they do then they ought to be brought to charge for breach of process and rushing through unnecessary claims, i.e. direct breach to the CPR.
