    Hard to say.

You need to be looking at what genuine surplus income you would have come August based on proper expenditure figures from a debt councillor or similar. Even then, it may be unwise to leap at any particular debt solution until your circumstances have settled again.

I'd seriously stop thinking formal issues. Get that idea out your head quick smart.

      A DRO is useless here.

          Certainly the DRO seems so.

Others may be possible, but it does not sound like the time to jump into any of them at the moment. Could do that and regret it for a long long time.

Hmmmm tough one. Or for now, they could consider a DMP? I'm not sure what's best tbh.

I know what I'd do like

The problem is my final credit card is gonna be maxed out within a month. Then I literally have nothing. I set up a new bank account last night so my wages will get paid into that but what do I do now?

You get great stories of good advice from CAB.

You get absolute horror stories of abysmal advice as well.

                Very hit and miss sadly.

The key is to get advice from several independent sources, so that if any is poor or biased, then that should be apparent and get balanced out on the whole. Plus it can give you confidence in any solution or tactic, if for example they all mostly concur.

Take all advice, even from supposedly professional advisors, with caution.

I'd just move, mail redirect, change mobiles and what will be will be. But with no personal assets I'd not worry - they couldn't do jack-shit

Self managed DMP or token payments until things settle down at new home and longer term finances become clearer?

Seems inevitable that Quikkie is going to have to default on the cards at some point, no matter what, so what's to lose?

                        Thanks Boss.

Good minds and all that. Nuff said, there's one of two options as I see it and I'd be considering both.

                          We're not all you.

If you were definitively going to go for a binding solution, BR/IVA/DRO etc, then might even suggest that, as even the worst thing like a court claim would get halted or nullified by that.

                              Yes.

It's hard to come to any conclusion on this sort of thing via a forum

It's hard enough for a professional advisor, sitting with someone face to face, with all the facts and paperwork.

Best bet seems to me that Quikkie goes off and gets some advice from a range of sources, then comes back and tell us what they say.

Then we can perhaps help mull that over, and/or help them through whatever seems best.

Mate go down cab today and get them to advise what they think is best. Back that up with a call to step change. Then come back here and tell us what they say. Basically there's no bad answer to what you should do. But the main thing right now is that you stop paying out more than you have coming in. There's no reason to why you can't stop all payments right now while you decide the best way forward. I know others will agree with me.
