Re: Leaving DMP, taking them on.

Will shortly be posting up the full story after crimbo, as my typing is tortuous.
Essentially myself and O.H are in debty doo doo due to a whole catalogue of circumstances over a period of years.
My partner had 6 unsecured debts managed with Paysham.
This year we attempted to settle each debt with 40% offers.
                    Unsurprisingly they turned us down.
Having found this site we've decided to take them on bearing in mind they are all pre 2007.
We have settled a small one for £70, but the others we intend to battle out.
I'm not a homeowner but my OH is and so I'm naturally concerned about BR and COs.
Back in November we CCA'd them all and their responses have been laughable.
Two have returned paperwork which I wouldn't bother Niddy with it is so incomplete.
I wish to God I'd seen this site sooner, they've been taking the p**s for years.
My own debt is 50K but on a very manageable arrangement and I have reasons why I wish it to remain so for the time being.
I'm angry with Paysham who to me are just the friendly face of the debt collection industry and get ridiculous lovebombing and plaudits from other Forums without any censure or caveats.
We will post up our story in the New Year, I promise it will be an interesting one!!
I've got loads of questions to ask and information to share but in the meantime I wish everyone on this site whoever or wherever you are a peaceful and stress free seasonal break.

                    .
