    Quick update...

Had a rather speedy reply and they have returned my postal order as they want it made payable to them.

I am to 'return it to them as a matter of urgency'.

I shall get on to it tomorrow when I am in work.

Both letters sent off separately by recorded delivery today.

    Let's see what happens next.

As always, I really do appreciate the support and advice I have received.

Yes, just add a line to say you enclose a formal CCA Request and the £1 statutory fee which must not be used for any other purpose.. Send recorded of course.

I've just removed your earlier photobucket link and uploaded pdf's of the letter instead

OK just read back, that means in your case 27th July.
Time to send another CCA Request and the LBA response as suggested earlier methinks.

    No probs Beefy
Yep so the SB clock would have started the day after your first missed payment then.

    Re: Help with Cabot

Sorry for the blunt previous reply - I was using my phone to post.

I had been paying sometimes more than the minimum payment but the last few payments were minimum payments. The card was taken out after April 2007 so I guess the best plan is to try and keep them from starting legal proceedings before the SB date which is so close now...

This is my only debt and I really don't want to fall foul at the 11th hour so to speak.

Thanks for all your help so far and your future advice
