    Re: Payday Loans and charges

I have just received another statement of account with more but not all payments on it (same charges). Also after reading their t&c's there are a lot of charges to dispute. The extra interest seeing as we were in touch with them from day 1. The two default charges seeing as i told them prior to missing the payment and of course that point£93 collection charge. I think a formal complaint is in order

I am assuming that it was when they passed it to jb debt recovery. It was already with my dmc at that point. In fact it was with them almost right from the date the first payment was due I

Finally, after copying in JB debt recovery have had a sort of answer from Wanka. They have escalated it to their finance department......

Now taking on MEM in Bicester who are not reading my emails but replying to them..
    1) asked for 0 payment and said I was dealing with it
    2) They replied that 15 a month was minimum
    3) I replied asking again and saying it was odd because they had accepted a token £1 when I was with a DMC
    4) They replied accepting my token payment (with bank details) and asked if I was still with a DMC
    5) I have replied suggesting that they learn to read and understand English , asking for 6 months freeze and making it a formal complaint (sent by email , letter going in post tomorrow)

Shortly afterwards, someone logged on to a system as a new user, made his way to the distributed electronic conference in which new systems might be advertised and posted an advert. The advert stated that the system had five lines all using the same number, that it had got electronic conferences from all over the place, loads of games to download, that it was operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that it was absolutely free to use.

There was just one slight snag that the advert did not mention.

The number given did not have a computer system connected to it, as it was the voice line of the oaf who had annoyed my friend.

Within a few days, as the advert was propagated throughout FidoNet, the number of calls made to that number steadily increased. A lot of them were made at night, or in the early morning.

I believe the oaf ended up having to change his phone number.

Thanks, easy to get carried away..however I'd like to see them try....I have made no threats, just difficult to read emails on a daily basis asking for info they should be providing me.

Just go steady, don't wind them up too much cos the silly beggars will go get a restraining order - I wouldn't put it past them

Well still no reply from Wanker.....I have now told them how disappointed I am with them after I had placed my trust in them and how it was obvious they were not going to stick to there obligations ( for anyone that has never had the letters from them, they go on about how they trusted you and are deeply hurt etc etc)

How can a fax machine with no paper left or a burned out print head produce a transmission log page?

Then there'd be the task of proving it was deliberate rather than just the damned thing going wrong.
