Thanks for looking over that Nidz.

As I thought, a load of nonsense, the typed out terms could relate to anything and come from anywhere.

I love the bit that they have included a scanned copy of the signature page - which they haven't...

I like that template and will wing it off and see what cobblers they come back with.

      Well,

Sent off the letter and got no reply.

All they've done now is pass it from CQ to Freds!

Freds have made the obligatory 1 million phone calls, which have been duly ignored... They are now pissed at me and have sent a LBA.

I have now poo'd my g-string and will never sleep again.......

They'll set Carter on you soon then.... and you'll need to be very pro-active to avoid court papers landing.

I've heard that he/they normally withdraw legal action anyway once challenged but if you can avoid that headache, then it's better for you.

Carter backed off me after a pre-court CPUTR challenge and being dobbed in to the SRA.

                Happy days.....

I understand that not a few others have also reported that firm to the SRA which, as there seems to have been no discernible amelioration of Carter's antics, may be as much use as the tits on a bull.

Very true CC.... I was under no illusion that the SRA would bash him for much (if anything) but the thought that they might have done may have caused him to back off.... or it may have just been CPUTR.

I will never know for certain.... and was just happy that the victory was mine and not his.

Do you think now is the appropriate time to cputr fred's, or do I wait until bc becomes involved and cputr them?

Bearing in mind, the account is still owned by C1 - not sold on yet.

Freds. will ignore you and pass it to Carter anyway. Are Freds. aware that this is unenforceable? I'm assuming that it's just been passed across from CQ for them to have a go instead.

                          I don't think they are.

They will get the UE letter sent tomorrow.
                          Just printing it off now.

                            Well,

I sent the UE letter from here, basically saying it's a recon and so on.

I've now received a nice yellow card saying "Confirmed Resident" we KNOW you are there! - Well, that must have taken Columbo to find out....

...and "unless you contact us, this WILL go to litigation."
Thing is, from the dates, our letters have crossed in the post!
I don't think they own this though, it's still with C1.

Is it now time for the CPUTR?

As your letters have crossed, I would see how they respond to yours first....
