So the bank wrote off the £500 penalty charges which should never have been put on your account in the first place? I like it

Now what about a little bit of compensation from them as a goodwill gesture

compo received, along with a nice apology...

I have another account with them however, and guess what? - they STILL seem unable to read and answer correspondence.

I feel another battle coming on.
At this rate, I'll be able to make payments to them using their own compensation payments....
They'll be paying them bloody selves..........
