There are more than 1 billion people in the world suffering from some form of disability and representing 15% of world population. The most frequent problems they have to face are discriminations in medical care and in the workplace, but also struggle daily against architectural barriers and lack of opportunity to enjoy an independent life. Approximately 110/190 million people face every day problems related to discrimination. At work, for example, data from the WHO World report on disability in the OECD area shows that the percentage of able-bodied workers is 75% against 44% of people with disabilities. But starting in the schools data show that children with disabilities not attending come to be up to 10% more than non-disabled young people. In countries like India the percentage is growing to 60%.
