I sent the letter off yesterday whilst the site was down so had already sent the letter. I didn't attach a copy of their letter but I did amend what I'd written above to include references to it including the date and name of the responder stating both that I would only communicate in writing and that the person had agreed to the arrangement.
The address is the same for all depts, but yes I should have addressed it to collections although I'm sure it'll get there once read.
