He has tested negative for malaria and hep A. His GP is totally at a loss; he is fading away in front of us, they came home a couple of weekends ago and he weighs less than 10 stone
I went up to attend his doctors appoint with him last Friday - eventually they have referred him to a nuerologist but we are not sure of the waiting time. In the meantime he has been prescribed anti depressants - he was very much against taking these for a while but the doctor explained he has got so low his body is just not fighing anything. We have convinced him it will do no harm, even if he doesnt need them they wont kill him...... I am just praying the appointment will come through quickly as he is so sad, my heart breaks everyday talking to him.

brightness in his voice, wants to plan Christmas it's like a miracle to me. I could cry

all symptoms gone, he is going to the gym 5 times a week and sounds so happy 
one that's linked to his degree and has real prospects. It's 9 to 5, Monday to Friday and so his work life balance will be so much better too 
oh and they are home on Boxing Day
