AAD Website Closure - New & Improved Forum
This is an important update regards AAD Resource Portal (our main website). You'll notice that when you click the link to our template letters from the top of the forum that you'll be sent to a new template letter section which contains the Free Templates we offer. To obtain access to our enhanced templates you need to subscribe by Joining AAD+.
*AAD* isn't closing down our sister site which is being combined with the hugely successful forum to create a more powerful resource for debtors including in-house legal services which will be launched at the end of next month (with our own practicing solicitor and direct access to a top barrister). In order to provide the new service AAD will have to make a small charge for access to AAD+ where the template letters can be found as well as the extra information being provided with the help of our new legal partner (ie case law etc). However some of the templates will remain free to help you start your journey to a debt-free life and more advanced ones to continue the UE process (unique to AAD) can be found in AAD+ now, ahead of the re-launch.
This overhaul has been on the cards for some time now; however we're implementing it overnight through Easter 2015 because there will be a few other major changes to the forum in the coming weeks - based around our provision of services and us as a business, moving forwards - it's all good, don't worry - but that leaves us little time to deal with so many changes at once so we're implementing the changes in two batches - the first which has occurred tonight is semi-removal of AAD, Legalese and all other subsidiary businesses to make way for the new and improved AAD Forum. At the present time there are holding pages linked to the most common area's people used to visit - however in due course AAD itself will literally be used for the forum and nothing else.
The second change will be coming in the next 4-6 weeks - you'll all be notified as and when the changes are due to occur but as stated above, everything is good and will benefit many AAD members (as well as thousands that aren't currently members).
We do still offer some templates for free - please see the following thread for details and usage - Free Templates

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why are you closing the main website?
A. This is answered above but it's primarily so that we can focus our attention on the forum, it's members and providing accurate quality content.
Q. Why have you moved the templates into a subscription based service?
A. We've decided to do this to allow us to continue trading and also to stop plagiarism, theft and unlawful usage by non-AAD members.
Q. AAD+ costs £10 - why should I join?
A. We're not saying you should. However if you want to utilise our templates, resources and key case-law & guides then you'll need to subscribe.
Q. I'm skint - can I get free access?
A. Sadly no. We've opted to give zero gratis based on the fact we'd like everyone to be the same, so everyone with access will have subscribed as you did. That said, there are still some free templates available - you can access those here - Free Templates
Q. But all I want is a template letter....
A. Very good! Then why not help others and either contact us and request a template, or subscribe to AAD+ and have unlimited access.
Q. Can I save / copy / share the templates from within AAD+?
A. Absolutely not. If any member of AAD+ shares or disseminates any of the content from within the secure section itself then they'll be immediately removed from the forum. It is forbidden to share links or the templates within or outside of AAD, unless it's on a thread already in the AAD+ Secure Members Portal.
Q. Is the main AAD website reopening in the future?
A. No. We've made a business decision to close it and host all the main content from within the forum itself. The forum is capable of adding additional security and will free up a lot of wasted time dealing with spammers and unnecessary duplication of work which was necessary running the forum and a busy website.
Q. Is the forum closing / changing / likely to be affected?
A. The forum will be enhanced with us devoting all our time to it, its resources and its content. We want to ensure that when we update the forum with key information that is is easily and readily available. With additional use of newsletters and member involvement we'll soon have the forum behaving exactly how you want it. The forum is not closing nor will it be adversely affected in any shape or form, as a result of AAD Website's closure.
Q. I can still see some pages on the old AAD Website?
A. Only pages stored in your history, with cache will be visible. Press F5 to refresh your system and see the new page(s). At the present time there are a few holding pages, directly associated with popular pages such as the main AAD Website homepage and the AAD Website template letters pages. This will ensure that members will not be confused and can easily be directed to this page to see why we've closed the website and how things are working from now on.
Q. What about other sites - are they closing as well?
A. Some are yes. For example Legalese, AAD & Consumer Revenge will all be directed to the forum until such time we decide to either dispose of the domain or utilise it in some other way. We may, in the future reverse our decision to close certain websites and may well reopen one, however at the moment that is not our intention.
Q. What if I need legal help - Legalese is closed?
A. We're currently able to deal with any legal issue in-house so you don't need to worry. We'll soon be enhancing our legal accessibility to include a much broader scope which will mean we'll probably get a lot busier with new members in receipt of a claim. We won't desert anyone no matter whether they've been issued a claim or not. If you have been issued a claim then we ask you to continue to follow the existing Claims Process.
Q. I'm still not happy at being told I need to subscribe to AAD+ to get access to templates.
A. We're sorry but that won't change our decision. We spend a lot of time and pay legal professionals to proof our templates hence it's only fair that everyone that uses them helps to support the forums existence for the benefit of others.
Q. My question isn't answered....
A. Ok please reply to this thread with your question and we'll try and respond as soon as possible. If we're unable to respond and you want an immediate answer then feel free to Email Niddy and he'll usually get back to you pretty quickly.
