TSB, which split from Lloyds last year, has been named the worst bank for customer service in a poll of almost 9,000 people. In an early blow for the re-born bank, only 37pc of its customers rated its service as "great", while 20pc said it was "poor" in the survey by MoneySavingExpert.com. Perennial favourite First Direct was once again ranked top, with 92pc of its customers ratings its customer service as "great". First Direct, a telephone and internet-based bank, has won every MoneySavingExpert customer service poll since they began in 2008. It is currently offering £100 to new customers who switch to its 1st Account, as well as a 0pc overdraft up to £250 and a linked 6pc regular savings account.
