Nottingham-based commercial debt collection firm Eurocoll Ltd has been named by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) as a “deliberate” tax defaulter. A document published by HMRC has revealed the dates the company defaulted on its tax payments, when the firm first defaulted in 2010, with the most recent default dated January to March 2012. Between 1 July 2010 and 30 June 2011, the company failed to pay £14,692.77 in tax, for which it incurred a penalty of £9,549.80. On its website, Eurocoll describes itself as offering debt recovery and commercial credit management services and states it is registered under the Consumer Credit Act.
