with Santander and Halifax the worst
Major high street banks are being outdone by smaller financial institutions when it comes to customer satisfaction, the latest survey from Which? has revealed. Research by the consumer group shows not one of the largest banks scored above average for overall customer satisfaction, despite accounting for more than 80 per cent of the current account market.
Santander and Halifax are the worst performers, scoring 46 per cent and 48 per cent respectively, well below the average score of 62 per cent. Bank of Scotland, RBS, Lloyds, Barclays, Natwest and HSBC all perform poorly too. Royal Bank of Scotland, which also owns NatWest, has performed consistently badly in Which? surveys over the past three years and came 27 out of 30 for overall brand satisfaction this year, despite launching its customer charter two years ago to make it ‘Britain's most helpful bank'.....Read more here: Major high-street banks fare badly in latest customer satisfaction survey | This is Money
