Tim Street from UK Uncut says he is hoping to have a deal between HMRC and Goldman Sachs that cost the taxpayer around £20million quashed by the courts.

Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) have failed to collect more than £25 billion in “unresolved tax bills” from major firms — the equivalent of £1,000 for every British family — a committee of MPs claims. The parliamentary Public Accounts Committee says revenue executives have become “unduly cosy” with larger firms and have tried to hide from public scrutiny details of a series of secret deals with companies. But HMRC has rejected the findings and said there was a "misunderstanding of facts".

Tim Street from action group UK Uncut said that they would be launching legal proceedings this week to try and bring a "legal review of the case that let Goldman Sachs off £20 million in tax."
