Energy upstart OVO puts big six power firms to shame as it CANCELS bill rise thanks to falling whole
Energy provider OVO has cancelled a price increase it announced last month in an effort to pass on falls in the prices it pays for gas and electricity. The group, which supplies 69,000 customers, was planning to hike bills by 3.5 per cent on January 1. But after prices in the wholesale gas and electricity market fell during the last couple of months the Gloucestershire-based independent supplier decided to pull the plug on the plan.
