Energy firm Scottish and Southern Energy is to scrap its policy of hefty discounts for online tariffs in an attempt to simplify energy pricing.
The supplier announced the move in a letter to energy secretary, Chris Huhne, in a response to his recent criticism of the 'big six' gas and electricity suppliers.
