CCUA concern at government cuts
The government has failed to progress bailiff regulation and fee reform or provide assurances that the courts system will improve, according to the Civil Court Users Association (CCUA). Representatives from the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and HM Courts & Tribunal Service (HMCTS) announced intentions to improve the service of the courts but told an audience at the CCUA conference that any reforms were dependent on funding, which was not guaranteed.
