The Insolvency Service has disqualified four directors of emergency home insurance company Homecall + Limited for between four and 13 years. Following an investigation by the official receiver’s Public Interest Unit (North), Brent James Hartley, John Steven Williams, Rebecca Elizabeth Hartley and Carole Ann Williams have been banned from promoting, managing or becoming directors of a limited company. Homecall, which was based in Blackburn and Burnley, was wound up on 10 May 2011 owing creditors and shareholders £8.3m after a petition by a finance company that was owed £800,000.....Read more here: Insurance company directors face 13-year ban
