I found out by checking my credit file that BG have recorded a red 6 against me on Experian. When I called them today the bill was apparently for June- Aug 16 & my ex partner had contacted them to disputed it. They entered late payments from Oct 17 on my file.I had no knowledge of this & only found out when refused credit at the weekend. I have paid the balance now in full but they will not remove the red markers.
My partner had a personality dosorder & hid this from me. I have begged BG for help as I am in desperate need to rent a house & this has made it impossible, even though I have always had a perfect credit file prior to this.
i have never been in debt & am devastated as I have a disabled son & we are living in an unsafe environment.
please no judgemental comments, but any advice to help this situation would be so very much appreciated
