Ever since my estranged wife died and I was told I could apply for bereavement benefit they have been incapable of paying my ESA on time.
Every 2 weeks I have to call up and wait 24 hours for a call back. This is getting stupid.
Today I just said i could not eat so they suggested that I apply for a crisis loan , well this seems to be the way round it as the lady on the phone called through all the red tape got hold of a manager in the ESA who is making a payment by 6 tonight . Not sure if I need to hold my breath or not
