Coronavirus 3 month mortgage payment holiday

Hi all,

I just wondered if anyone has applied for a payment holiday during the coronavirus crisis? I am with Skipton Building society - I haven't applied yet but do plan to before my next payment is due, its an email application. Anyone applied? Successfully or any issues?

I'm aware of successful applications for the mortgage payment holiday which have been agreed and confirmed by text in 48 hours.

By way of an update - I sent in a request on the dedicated email address and I had a response authorising the 3 month payment holiday from this month 8 minutes later! Brilliant service and a bit of welcome respite.

Well done Skipton Building Society - that must be a record (8 minutes to get the agreement!).

As you will see from their website this Mortgage Payment Holiday will not have any negative impact on your CRA file i.e. it will not be recorded as a late or missed payment > https://www.skipton.co.uk/mortgages/...yment-holidays
