I have received the following reply from p2p. Please advise of a way forward. I don't want to be sending payslips and bank statements if I don't have to.

      thanks

      Questionnaire

      1) Recently, we have seen an increased number of complaints where the complainant has obtained a template from a website or blog. Did you use a website template? If so, can you please provide the name of the website?

      3) Please provide a copy of a bank statement from the time of your loan(s).

      4) Please provide a copy of a payslip from roughly the time of your loan(s).

As you will see from our complaint procedure, we have eight weeks from the date we receive your complaint to send you our ‘Final Response’. If at that time you are still unhappy with our decision, you will have six months from the date of our 'Final Response' to refer your complaint back to the Financial Ombudsman Service for them to adjudicate in the matter on your behalf.

        Hi Scotty

This is pretty hysterical and outrageous at the same time. Its irrelevant whether you are using a template from a blog or a website and its none of their business! You're also under no obligation to provide them with bank statements or payslips either.

I'd just write back stating something like that had already informed them you were in financial distress, that you're disappointed as they do not appear to be taking your complainy seriously by asking for irrelevant information, and that they have all the information to hand they need already from the application process.

Re: Lending Stream and pounds to pocket

                Hi, thanks for enquiring.

i sent the letter you devised to 4 lenders and adapted them accordingly to fit the situation.i have had general acknowledgment replies from P2P, Wonga and Satsuma but haven't heard anything from Lending Stream apart from the obligatory default notices. I am aware that this process could take up to 8 weeks to resolve.
Last time I wrote p2p appeared to be a bit funny with my request so I replied to them as you advised and got the standard acknowledgedment.

I will ill update on here when I hear anything more

They wrote me explaining the dispute period I.e. 8weeks to resolve.so I just asked them to stop the nuisance calls whilst the account was in dispute.

why when I am querying whether the loan is valid would they be expecting payments. Utter numpties

Ok so I have had my first response from Satsuma. Basically saying they adhered to their lending code and all internal checks and affordability checks had been done. So get stuffed! If I want to take it further I need to write to the FCA within 6 months.

not a huge problem with this lender as they are currently being paid a minimum amount on my DMP.
