Re: Payday Loan Companies - How they spam you for new business

I'm sick of getting text messages and phone calls saying my loan application is complet and just log into blah blah blah.

I hate this as i have both parents who not in good health and need my phone clear of this rubbish

          LOL apparently so!

And knowing how poor the checks are these companies make I bet I could borrow that too. Its quite a scary thought when you really sit down and think about it. Is it any wonder why so many people get into trouble with these companies, and also why the OFT has just shut one down as it issued loans to identity thieves and then pursued the innocent people for loans taken out in their names?

Notice how the representative APR is always 1737%! Bit strange that one!

Yes that was three emails back to back!

Thats the spam list for the last few days. Thats almost 50 emails!

Now I know thats not in the proper 'spam' territory (as in I'm not getting thousands of emails) but you have to ask how tempted would someone who is in a vulnerable (either mentally or financially) state be to follow up on one of these emails.

                So much for responsible lending.......

Re: Payday Loan Companies - How they spam you for new business

Just thought I would start up this diary again as the number of emails I have been getting recently has just been getting ridiculous. I'm not going to name the companies for ease of posting but just to record the number of emails received the previous day.

What I'm showing is how can anyone who is desperate for money could be easily persuaded to take one of these loans simply due to the number of emails of emails that they will receive, one will eventually hit the target and then cycle starts.

                        Monday 15th April 2013 number of emails = 10
