    It is colder than it was at Christmas! I'm off to the seaside tomorrow (don't know which coast as yet), and apparently the highest temperature I can expect is 6 degrees, the average temperature for January.

    When I did my favourite walk from Hunstanton down to North Heacham on 21st December last year, it was just about into double figures.

          It is going well at the moment. I walked across London to Victoria to get the train to Eastbourne. Bloomsbury is quiet at this time of the morning, and the squares look surprisingly green. More later.

              Happy Easter everyone from me - despite the very unseasonal weather.

              And I know what you mean about Good Friday, Pixie - it was a very mournful day in our house when I was little. Especially as we had to eat steamed fish ....
