    Samsung is the manufacturer of the A-series of processors – the A4 and A5 chips that Apple designs in-house and uses as the heart of the iPad and iPhone.

      LG has started production of the screen that's widely expected to feature in the iPhone 5.

        Im not stupid.. they are tied in with Samsung until 2014 for chips.

        DigiTimes has previously reported that Apple is tied into a contract with Samsung regarding the A6 processor, and won’t be able to drop its chip orders until 2014.

          Yea, I am agreeing that Samsung don't do iPhone screens, LG does them!

            Yeah the latest phone but up until now its been Samsung... The reason apple can't afford Samsungs New prices

                No it is not, it is because LG Display is proven to blow away samsung technology and is in part based on iPhone own designs....

                Point is, iPhone is better than BB - and the sales figures worldwide back this up

                          That is the facts, easiest way to get the info across - but it is LG who do their retina display screen. If it was wrong, Apple would edit it

                              I agree, it does - in fact it has 2 samsung chips, but I am referring to the display - the actual physical screen Jen..... LG do the screen.
