  • Happy Birthday to AAD!

If my calculations are correct, AAD is seven years old today!! (If not today exactly, then certainly around this time)

I hope I am talking on behalf of all of you - past, present and future - I would like to offer a big "thank you" to Niddy for starting the whole thing off. It was much needed and has helped so many of us confront the "demons of debt" with practical advice, support and non-judgmental comments.

The camaraderie of this site is second to none - not only have we been able to vent our feelings on various, banks, solicitors, etc. without fear of being criticised, we have even be able to find mutual topics not related to finances on which we have been able to banter with like-minded people - or, non-like-minded people, come to that. Virtual drinking in the Statue Bar is great fun - and free! And no dreaded hangover afterwards! Personally, I have learned about Rangers Football Club - I know Niddy is a great supporter. And really enjoy pretending to be a dance critic on the "Strictly Come Dancing" Thread!

The only downside to this is that I am now seven years older!

Thanks again, Niddy - long may this Forum continue!
