What is the "etc"?

Gas and electricity are not "priority debts" - they can't send you to gaol or discontinue supply merely for having missed one or two payments.

The electric telephone or mobile telephone is not a priority debt either, though they can restrict or discontinue service for non-payment.

Only the Council Tax is a priority debt. Are you claiming all the discounts and help to which you are entitled?

Yes I have tried but not entitled to anything as I work full time. Ok I'm just worried the gas n electricity will be cut off also I have fees for my overdraft ... I sound pathetic I'm sorry haha

Ok so I've just rang my bank and they have cancelled the CPAs for the 2 payday loans for tomorrow . If they do take the money halifax will refund.

Yes I have online banking. I paid wonga through their website on the amounts which was due. As it was a few days early I paid them or usually it's gets taken out my account on the due date .They hold my debit card details . Oops I have just called the bank and they have cancelled the CPAs for poundstopocket and Quickquid for tomorrow. Shouldn't I have done that yet ??

I'm going to ring the bank now ! It's halifax so hopefully will be fine . If I withdraw cash out which can only be £300.00 , what about my priority direct debits which need to come out ?

Second, did Wonga tell you the amount they were taking and they JUST take that amount?

exactly. You got it. With a revolving DD (or variable) the amount can be queried at any time and you CAN then utilise the DD Guarantee.

I'm really sorry I feel like an idiot ( I need a step by step idiots guide !!) so if you mean just calculate living expenses and priority bills, without any debt repayments then yes I will have enough money to last the month

When I've been in this situation before most banks will have something in their t&c's that states the minimum notice period to cancel a DD for the DD guarantee to apply. The Fobbing Off Service has then backed the banks in this situation (not that is anything new).
