    Hi all,

    I'm new to the site and wondered where I start?

    I have a number of historical debts and could really do with advice, especially with a particular one with Lowell (cap one originally) where I received a letter before action and I've now had a response (minus a default notice).

    Is there a guide on here for beginners, or a certain way of doing things?

    letter before action within last 30 days??? welcome by the way,

    easy to look around site & start a diary giving dates and up to date letters etc (no info that recognises you)

      You've come to the right place.

      There are no strict formalities with the forum - just list all of your debts and we'll take it from there.

      I can see you've had a Letter of Claim from Lowell for a debt which was originally a Capital One credit card. They've been busy sending out loads of these.

      When did you open the Capital One account, how much is the balance?

      And good news that Lowell haven't got the Default Notice - they seldom do.

      Have you sent them a formal s78 CCA Request yet?

          In the meantime you can email me a copy of the Letter or Claim you received from Lowell and their response to you using di@joannaconnollysolicitors.co.uk which is safer than posting documents on a public forum.

              I've now got your email.

              I'll reply tomorrow when I'll be asking you to also send me the documentation which Lowell sent you for this Capital One credit card debt.
