    [QUOTE=Never-In-Doubt;156339] we'll get the 10pt deduction /QUOTE]

    I know nothing about football so pardon my ignorance but don't clubs get points based on win, lose or draw? Or can those points get taken away if you've got a poor accountant even though you're brilliant on the pitch

    Re: Rangers FC

    Rangers have won more trophies than any other club worldwide - but the problem is we're in the wrong league and thus nobody wants to buy us. Pompey is a better proposition than we are, shockingly.

    Look at Man City, imagine anyone thinking they would ever become something, they won't - but after maybe £300m they'll realise that. The owners ought to invest outside of the EPL as that will be the next bubble to burst, and as for us - we probably will not survive this.

    I truly hope, as a die-hard fan, than we just slip under and don't come back. Not as things stand. Just quit as the current champions, with more than any other club worldwide and be done with it. We are not a thriving business, a £10m annual loss just aint good enough.

    Blame the likes of Sky tv etc for the demise of smaller leagues, they pay us (an old firm game) £300k for the rights, yet Man U v Chelsea for example, both get over £2m each.

    Fair? Fuck right off.

    I pay my Sky bill every month just like the English so why should more of my subs go to fund them, it's all bollocks.

    Bye Bye Rangers - been a hell of a time but it's the end of the road as we know it

    Indeed many buyers wait until the club enters admin before making a move, to them it makes financial sense.

    Rangers is a good club with great history they will find a buyer this world is a big place.

    There's a way back sometimes, Swansea were wound up in the mid 80's & survived. We were on the brink again in 2002, we survived that too.

    I think Rangers might be in more trouble than that. I really cannot remember the source, but it was a few days ago and it said that Administration is certain, and the club may not survive it.

    Yes but then going into administration will put a stop to any winding up order and is the reason pompey entered administration today and no doubt will be the same reason rangers do also.

    I heard a rumour that there's about a 25% chance of a winding up order. Bloody hell!

    only difference with us is it will put us down to 21st place and no doubt relegation to league 1 where as rangers will be safe even with the 10 point deduction.

    I saw it coming to be honest so no surprise to me.

    Who is going to buy a club that is tethering on administration indeed they will wait for admin then make there move.
