Boss not happy . They have had the usual harrassment templates but as with all the others - have ignored them. My boss has spoken to me about it & is going to write to them about disruption they are making to the business, ringing the co number for personal matters and that if they dont stop he will sue them for damages.
That will work, ask him to say you no longer work there...... but that should do it cos it is HIS number, but then again if you work there and gave authority they will still ring,. they get pleasure from your pain.........

Letter form Citi card saying my account will be transferred to OPUS(Anyone heard of theses?). I guess I start out all over again with them.
Isn't this what all Citi customers got, regards to them selling their UK card account book - basically citi have sold their UK cards, like Marbles did etc etc....I got a letter from them too (on Saturday) as did other citi holders (not in debt either - i'm just a regular gold card customer). Apparently it will be underwritten and managed by HBOS - but who knows, just ignore for the moment.....

Finally a long letter from BCard in response to my complaint of their actions and recent doorstep visit.
Complaint not upheld - what a shock. They dont agree that my account is UE and that my account is closed but I must continue to pay it. Stalemate here me thinks - maybe ignore everything elses that they / Mercers send to me ? lol and they enclosed 'we value your feedback' leaflet...are they taking the p**s
Basically ignore it if it is their final response...... 2

Thanks very Much Niddy - I will deal with them as you say.

I NEED some urgent help with doorstep visits -Distraught MrsA just been on the phone - had 2 today got woken up by the first 1(on nights) and 2nd one power2contact didnt tell Mrs what it was about but said he couldnt stop her reading a card and held it out for her to read.
It was about BCard outstanding debt ....previously the same chap had pushed a card through the door on behalf of natwest.
I really dont know what to do / how to deal with these Bstards.

Ahh well feel a bit better now - Took a leaf out of Locke's book(Thanks Locke) & rang the doorstep chap from power2contact.
Asked him why he was visiting my home when he had no right to do so...
Tried to tell me he did,so I went on to tell him that I had written to his company telling them that I did not give them / him permission to visit my property on several occassions and that I the account was in dispute and I had nothing further to say to him or anyone else on the matter.
With this he backed right down and told me that he would be advising his office that this is passed back to Mercers.
Stayed calm this time and just stated the facts.

The fact is with these people is that they IGNORE absolutley everything that you send to them...or at least it appears that way.

                Update 20-10-10

                only 3 letters yesterday.
1 from Amex wanting me to ring them as they have discovered they owe me £37 odd from an old account- but need to go through some security checks with me first.....Yeah right.
Me thinks there might be another motive - they can keep the £37.

2 from SCM solicitors ( not heard of this lot before) re my 2 LTSB accounts.
'Formal demand for payment prior to the commencement of legal proceedings'.
                Which letter do I send?
Sold whilst in dispute template or threat of legal action - or both?

                Cheers ,

                Matty

                      Morning peeps - Update 24-10-10

Quieter week than the previous one (Thank god!) with plenty of the usual computer generated guff which has been filed / responded to as necessary.

A couple of interesting letters received though:

Natwest Visa - Power2contact and response to my complaint about a doorstep visit despite my wishes etc re my Natwest account informing me that they have passed my file back to their client.(That is three clients now since I spoke to their doorstep man)
Will have to wait & see who Natwest send next.

Coop visa - Strange (very short) letter in response to my CCA query letter. Just saying that no additional issues or concerns have been raised and that their last letter was their final response and their decision remains unchanged.
Any further correspondence recieved will be held on file without response.

Not sure what to make of it - filed for now & wait to see what happens.

                      M&S card (enforceable & blagging)
Letter from PLR who have been quite for a while, saying that they have been trying to contact me etc,I am ignoring and disregarding their efforts to resolve the matter ,ring them urgently etc,it is my final chance to sort this out before the default me.
If I dont contact them they will instruct agents to visit me at my home.

Do I file and ignore this for now or send them a doorstep threat letter off?

My gut feeling is to send them off another copy blagging letter, with the doorstep visit template added to it & to remind them that I am not ignoring them ,that I HAVE responded to all written correspondence as per my previous letter requesting that all correspondence is to be in writing and maybe attaching copies of all previous correspondence?

Thanks Boss your advice is much appreciated as always.
                      Regards,
                      Matty

As above mate, just ignore it as they will not write to you if they have issued a final response so just ignore them now until they sell the account.....

                              Morning all.

Received a letter from Newmans (Amex) - they are now going to pass my file on to Copes solicitors for legal proceedings unless I ring them NOW.
I will file this & wait for Copes to contact me - or should I send them the threat of legal action template(I have sent them this before back in early September)?

                              Cheers.

                              MattyA.
