        Update 13-10-2010
As predicted i was visited at home yesterday by power2contact - nobody was in so the agent pushed a card throught the door - 'URGENT ring within the next 24hrs to avoid further action'.
Not sure what to do with this - any ideas?
I was thinking of ringing him as Locke did quoting them the law etc - but am not confident after my last telephone conversation.

              Update 14-10-2010
              Hi Niddy,
Received a copy of my CCA from Citi - CCA requested 21/07/2010.
It basically seems to be a copy of the original T&C's and a copy of their current T&C's(stating APR of 43.9%!) - do you need to see them?
No signature or date in sight.
They say 'This agreement does not include the signature box, signature or date of signature as in accordance with regulation392)(b)(ii) of consumer credit(Cancellation Notices & copies of documents) regulations 1983; We are not required to provide them'
and go on to say that this completes their obligations under the consumer credit act and that they satisfy my section 78 request.

I assume this just gets filed and I await their next move - or do I send them the terms & Conditions template?

              Regards

              MattyA

                    Update 18-10-2010
After a quite start to last week it finished with a flurry of letters which has continued into this week with 9 letters arriving today alone!(30 letters received in the last 3 working days)
I didnt want to update/mither his Nidship earlier but there comes a time......sorrry!

various letters from DCA's which I can deal with in the main for now - they just seem to be changing horses - same dcas now representing different lenders - just seems to be a merry-go-round for them.

AMEX - Newmans have sent a notice of pre legal action & the threat of statutory demand for payment...Bankrupt me ....etc etc...not their preffered choice mind...I still have chance to agree a voluntary payment plan.
They, after detailed investigations believe I have sufficient assets, which if liquidated etc etc(I note that Pheonix has had a similar letter a while ago )

Do I send them the threat of legal proceedings / charging order template?

Albion (FFS) are still at it chasing my BOS account, but after my telephone conversation the other day they seem to have passed the other account on to Power2contact. I have despatched the relevant template off to them....

Natwest have issued me notice of a default notice......but I still have time to reach agreement / pay them.
I assume this one just gets filed for now.

Various statements received all clocking up interest & charges at an un-holy rate.(filed)
Do they stop charging interest after defaulting me?

On a plus note - MBNA have written to me re my A&L / Atlantic Visa account.
They enclosed a very poor photocopy of my original signed application form and also advised that 'at the moment,we are unable to provide a complete copy of my agreement ' & such 'will not issue court proceedings against me to recover the amount owed to them'.
                    Result me thinks.

LTSB have taken to leaving automated messages for me on the company answerphone.
                    Boss not happy .
They have had the usual harrassment templates but as with all the others - have ignored them.
My boss has spoken to me about it & is going to write to them about disruption they are making to the business, ringing the co number for personal matters and that if they dont stop he will sue them for damages.

Letter form Citi card saying my account will be transferred to OPUS(Anyone heard of theses?). I guess I start out all over again with them.

Finally a long letter from BCard in response to my complaint of their actions and recent doorstep visit.
Complaint not upheld - what a shock.
They dont agree that my account is UE and that my account is closed but I must continue to pay it.
Stalemate here me thinks - maybe ignore everything elses that they / Mercers send to me ?
lol and they enclosed 'we value your feedback' leaflet...are they taking the p**s

Sorry for so much info - this is the short / edited version

                    Thanks M'Lord,as ever,in advance.
                    Matty

After account termination usually, but that doesn't matter cos you'll never pay back what they ask for anyway - you'd always negotiate so long as you could..... a F&F is best way to rid yourself of a defaulted enforceable debt.......
