chill matty, it is a bit daunting when you get a big pile of shit in the one post (my postman has a sore back with all the mail), but the vast majority is huff and puff, read my post about M&S, do they sound efficient and workmanlike to you? They tried to appropriate my PO for £1!!!! or do you think it was a wee delaying tactic?

feeling very chilled this morning, its only money and what's the worse than can happen, the days of throwing you in Newgate prison are long gone, and everyone is debt even the government (specially the government), so chill pet lamb, Niddy will look after you.

Why do you think that they wont go to court?
They don't know that you know it is enforceable, there is always that little chance they messed up and until they are 100% certain, then they will not go to court - if you get served court papers, we'll defend it and get it set-aside (as being in dispute) which will piss them right off, at which point we move in for the kill and ask for an out of court settlement to walk away or a mutually acceptable agreement for repayment which will include your main term - interest and charges cease so it is capital repayment only.

You're a wee way away from that happening right now so chill dude.... you are lucky, you have us guys here watching over you, so stay calm and i'll do the worrying for you (i.e. bigger workload)! ;LOL

              Hi Peeps
Just thought I'd pop by , say Hi & report the latest goings on in my saga...

Letter received from Resolvecall, further to me sending Nids letter re doorstep visit - They tell me that 'their records on this matter are now closed and that they will no longer attempt to contact me.All future correspondence should be directed to Mint.
Well that did the trick - nice one m'lord !

(Same day received a default notice from Mint....lol)

We will see who Mint employ next.

Received another letter from Resolvecall today(!) they are now representing Barclaycard and will visit me at me home etc etc - Are these lot thick?(more likely just very thick skinned)
Sent them a slighty altered version of Niddys letter & reffering them to the previous one regarding the Mint account & that I would be sending a copy of this letter to the ICO also.

Also received a letter from TSB re one of my accounts, further to their final response,blah...they view my agreement as enforceable & will continue to pursue it blah blah.....then finish by saying 'we have now closed our file'
              Result I think.

              Cheers Sir Niddy.

Hope everyone else is doing ok & battling onwards & upwards !

cheers m'lord - I think its down to pure agrogance on their part - they think they are above & can squash everyone.

                          Update 19-09-2010

Got a letter today from Mint basically saying that' my account is not enforceable and that they will be unable to take steps to enforce payment of the card by court action.Nevertheless they expect me to meet my obligations under the agreement'.
Result me thinks. Will file letter in safe place.

Also got a letter from Natwest, who have been quite to date, saying that if I dont contact them by 20-09-2010 they will instruct power2contact to visit me at home.
The timing of the letter is such that I cannot comply with it & therefore most likely will end up with a home visit......just as MINT did.

Here we go again.....I will follow exactley the same steps as I did with Mint and see what happens.
                          ;Spank
                          Will keep you posted.
