      Latest in the HFC saga.
Sent SAR off to HFC - template with 'printed' signature.
Beneficial bank have written back asking for a copy of of my passport / driving licence before they will release the info - Typical HSBC group tactic.
I know that I send them the signature refusal template , but also know that they will simply ignore and wonder how I can short circuit all this and force the issue - any ideas?
I was thinking about scanning my passport & blanking out / blurring the signature.

        Hello Matty, good morning

Niddy is off getting pished taking a well earned day off to relax, so I just wanted to pop in and let you know that in my opinion, there is absolutely no need to send them any ID.

The templates we have on the site explain to the creditor/DCA exactly why you won't provide your signature to them.

Niddy will be along in the next couple of days, and if he feels that providing ID is a good idea, he'll let you know............ please don't send it until he has given his approval.

        Good luck,

            Hi Matty

Diddly is right, I would probably send the template, you are right, it is just another delaying illegal tactic. I had this with M&S (also HSBC) over my CCA, I wrote a strong letter and they backed down, still sent a load of mince mind you, but they did back down on the signature. Good luck

Mate do not send them ID - you send this back! ---> Demand of your Signature

Don't forget we have templates for almost all the main (common) situations/responses so please check them!

                    Update 2-02-2011
Received a couple of letters from Moorcroft DCA re 1 of my BOS ac's and 1 of my LTSB ac's,threatening, possibility,of legal action etc etc.
This is the first time they have contacted me about these accounts ,so I have sent off the 'sold in dispute' templates.
(This lot a the 4th DCA to have a go at me for these accounts.)

Have received a letter from Bcard -formal demand for payment.
They mention that I have not complied with their recent default notice - not had one?
and threaten legal action doorstep visits etc etc.
This has been passed from DCA to DCA who have all had the various templates.

I send BCard 'threat of legal action ' template merged with doorstep visit threat template and wait to see what happens.
