    One Question:

At the beginning of the template there's a paragraph about repeated attempts to contact me, do I take that bit out as they haven't done so ?

    Thx
    just edit that bit out.....

I rec'd a letter from Instantsilver (who after doing a bit of research are Link by another name) offering me 50% off if I set up a payment plan over 48 months to repay the other 50%.

Will be ignoring this, no money available here and they are only asking for contact if I require any more info on the offer.
The above was the last main contact I had which was in Nov 2011 (apart from a reminder in Dec 2011) Latest letter rec'd today:-

Letter from Link stating as I have failed to reach an agreement with them, unless I contact them within the next 7 days they will instruct Robinson Way to take over management of the account. No doubt this will be given my urgent attention.

Pay or negotiate payment plan or ability to obtain credit may be affected, or they may visit.

              What to send please.

Been away for a couple of weeks and Rob Way have sent a letter stating the following:-

Letter from Rob Way headed “appointment for home visit” debt is still unpaid etc you’re a/c may be sent to our local collector in the next 10 days. Call us if you prefer to agree an affordable repayment plan etc.

                      Thoughts ?

                      Thanks

Continuing with 1st credit which is detailed on the last few posts on this thread from post 319, which gives the history of the account, up until my last post above. Today a new name enters the fray.

Letter from Meritforce (doorstep collection agents) who state they have been instructed by Mack Hall to collect the debt on their behalf. An authorised collector may majke a visit to my propert in the next 10 days (letter dated 2.7.12) Should the collector inform them that no positive commitment towards clearing the debt has taken place, my a/c will be returned to this office and formal proceedings may be considered. If you do not want our collector to call and want to arrange settlement you must contact clients Mack Hall. Fail to make payments, costs may be added etc etc.

I know there's lots of mays in there but would appreciate advice on what to respond with please.

                        Thx as always.

That seemed to put pay to mack hall/meritforce, now awaiting me on my return after 2 weeks away are the following:-

16.8.12 Letter from 1st credit stating despite numerous attempts to discuss with you payment of this o/s debt, you have not communicated or paid in full. Given this we have decided to engage the services of credit security ltd and you’re a/c has been transferred to them. Our instructions to them are to seek to attempt to collect the debt etc etc and they may visit my property in order to discuss etc etc. Please contact them.

16.8.12 Letter from credit security stating they have been instructed to collect etc, payment should be made in 7 days, or discuss with advisors.

The letters were dated 3 days apart. Should I ignore and see what credit sec. send next ?

                        Thanks as always
