    Thx

        Re: fedupwiththeworry's UE Diary

Just got the post and there's a letter from 1st Credit thanking me for my letter (CCA Chase up) saying it's been passed to the relevent Dept who will respond in due course.

Shall I still send the threat O gram letter ?

          Hellooooo

Nope - you just ignore, cos they aren't refusing - they are saying they will pass it on!

          Just sit tight.

Ah Ok so because that's come just after the legal action threat letter it's counted as their latest response so I sit tight

            Is that right ?

              Hiya

Ok, did you send this response on 18th? ---> viewtopic.php?p=35220#p35220 If so then you need to wait for that to be delivered etc - obviously things are crossing in the post so send them nothing else right now! let things die down and sort themselves out a bit.

In the meantime follow the plan as directed above in previous posts - ignore this recent letter because it has crossed with other stuff.

                Hi Niddy,
No the letter you said to send on the 18th was going out today (only saw your post this morning) before I could send it todays postman turned up with the letter thanking me for the CCA request chase up. Didn't know whether to still send your 18th letter or not, should I ?

                  Hiya

Woah - you're well confusing me here - I need simple explanations. Obviously (sorry but i'm getting wound up now) a legal threat is like 100 times more important than a silly letter saying we'll be in touch - don't you agree?

Therefore of course you ignore the most recent one and send the legal threat to stave off any action they try and take against you. The letter received today should be ignored.....

                  Make sense?

Today rec'd letter from Westminsters Solicitors headed "Notice of possible legal proceedings"
stating they have been instructed by RMA acting on behalf of their client Mint to review my a/c as they may have no alternative but to advise Mint to issue legal proceedings against me in the local county court. They will be after full o/s amount plus stat interest / costs etc.
Then normal stuff about attachment of earnings, charging order on house.
They would prefer to avoid by contacting RMA topay full amount or discuss repayment options.

So it appears RMA ignored my last letter ??
