What if they send the info within 12 or 40 days? It may be a little while before I get my post. They wont be knocking on the door will they?

I really appreciate all your help, I wish I had come across your site a long time ago!
Ok, chuck £11 in our donation and I will do it for you! I'll even pay the paypal fee lol. If you don't use paypal then you can credit our HBOS account with the £11 - but whatever you do make sure you send me the actual letters to post already completed with your details lol... I'll then print and send a cheque off for you!

                    Hi Niddy,

I have some updates for you!

                    Capital One - DCA Lowells
CCA request sent on 14 July

Letter received from Lowell dated 2 August stating that they have asked the lender for a copy and will try and provide the info in 12 days.

Then received another letter from Lowell dated 11 August "We have been in touch with Capital One they have let us know they are trying to retrieve the agreement from their archive. As soon as we have it, we will send it to you.

In the event we cannot obtain a copy of the agreement we will write to you again and inform you of this. Once you have seen your credit agreement, we will ask you to pay your outstanding balance in full".

                      O2 - DCA Lowells
Sent SAR letter on 14 July.

Received letter on 28 July stating "We are dealing with the request and will respond within 40 day time period.

We would like to clarify that the data you will be provided will only relate to the original account purchase details and the subsequent information held by our company from our dealings with you.

The Data Subject Access Request will not include information held on the account by the original creditor prior to the sale of the account. For that you will need to make a seperate request"

Then received letter by recorded delivery on 31 August enclosing "(i) copy correspondence between us; (ii) copy of our notes from our automated collections system (iii) copy of the information that we received from your original creditor at the point the debt was assigned to us; and (iv) transcript of telephone calls"

What do I fo now in relation to this? Do I now have to send O2 an SAR request also?

                        Natwest - DCA Bryan Carter
CCA request sent on 14 July

Letter received from BC dated 5 August

"We thank you for your communication re this account.

We have referred the matter to our client and will revert to you as soon as we are in receipt of instructions.

In the meantime, we confirm that we have placed the account on hold"

Then I receive a letter from Arrow Global (who are BC's client) dated 11 August.

"We thank you for your recent contact in which you informed us of a different address. Under the DPA 1998 we are required to verify this address, therefore we would appreciate if you could provide us with two of the following:-

                        ... utility bills etc

Alternatively, you can verify your address by contacting us on the telephone number below."

I had not contacted them, I have only just received this letter but on 5 September they sent a further letter.

"We write further to your letter dated 14/07/11, of which the content has been noted.

Until such time as we receive verification of the above address we are unable to comply with your request for copy documents under the Comsumer Credit Act 1974. We therefore return your postal order for £1.00.

If you wish to discuss this matter further please contact us on 0800 1300 165"

                        Please advise.

                        Cheers Niddy

Thanks for your reply In 2 Deep.

In answer to your question, the only proof I have of the CCA request re the Natwest debt is a copy of the letter I sent to Bryan Carter of 14 July and a copy of the cheque sent and Bryan Carter's reply "we thank you for your communication regarding this account etc".

Then I just received the letters from Arrow re confirming my address and then sending back the cheque. Arrow Global are Bryan Carter's client's and Arrow had the debt assigned by Natwest/RBS.
