It contains a card with a reference number and a mobile number to call telling me to call in the next 24 hours to stop further action.

What do you think I should do? Call it and explain that it's in dispute and that I've sent a letter saying that any visit would be seen as trespassing or should I ignore and wait for them to come again?
I'd call it and tell him - that will be the visiting officers number so may work - if he tried to bully you then tell him you're recording the call and formally reminding him any visit will be trespass and the police will be called with no prior notice, for his removal. 1 1
    Hi NID.

Well I called him, I basically told him that I wasn't sure why he was calling as I'd previously wrote to Power2Contact explaining the situation which included letters for them to pass on as well as saying that any visit from them would be seen as trespass, he tried telling me the law and that he was allowed to come around as the police are not interested in trespass to which I told him the OFT rules say that once I tell him to leave my property that he has to go, so any other visit would be a waste of time as I would tell him where to go without getting into a conversation about it.

He then said he would tell Halifax and Barclaycard what I'd said but he couldn't guarantee nobody else would call, I told him they would be wasting their time like he had and then he ended the call.

Today I've received a letter from Calders for that account so it looks like it's been passed on to them instead.
I got one of those off that Fecker who woke my mrs up yesterday.
Im going to ring in the middle of the night & see if he likes being woken up....will let you know.

They like to try and frighten you but as soon as he could see that I knew the rules he has to follow he wasn't interested, you might get a different response to me if you ring him in th emiddle of the night. ;LOL

They must of passed the letters on I sent because I've just received a copy of my (unenforceable) CCA + terms and conditions through the post again with a letter telling me it's enforceable.

            Alright Niddy?!

Not much to report but I thought I'd drop in anyway, I've only received one letter all week and that was off Albion for Halifax basically saying pay up or they will either take me to court or send someone to my door while conveniently forgetting they already have!

Just standard template rubbish to try and intimidate, it seems to be slowing up a little on the letter front.

I might regret saying that when the postman comes in the morning!

                  Re: Locke's UE diary

Morning NID, just the one letter today from Barclaycard.

All they've said is that they don't agree that the account is in dispute so they can pass it on to whoever they want to try and collect, I presume this is in response to the 'account sold whilst in dispute' letter I sent to Mercers.

I take it I should file this and ignore?

It looks like F.T.C have handed it back to Capital One as I've got Fredrickson on the case now.

Do I just fire off the 'sold whilst in dispute' letter?

Hi NID, hope all is well with you?

I received a letter today from Fredrickson and when I opened it up there was a large yellow card inside and it said RESIDENCY CONFIRMED in huge writing at the top. (seriously)

I've already sent the letter you told me to recorded but they say on this card that they haven't received anything from me and to pay up.

Should I ignore or send the last letter again?

Did they sign for the last letter? If so send proof of delivery lol.... if not, send it again (or fax it as well as post it) - but in any case so long as you have proof of postage you're covered, legally.....

                              Hi NID ;Hi1 Quick update!

I received a letter over the weekend from Debt Managers LTD who have had a debt passed to them by Barclaycard, I take it I just send them your new 'sold whilst in dispute' letter?

As for Fredrickson, I searched around the web and found an address for them that wasn't a PO Box so sent another letter there, which they signed for and sent a letter back saying they will put the account on hold while they contact Capital One.
