They have admitted they don't have a copy of the default notice, and they put in writing they are unclear what documentation is needed for a termination notice.

My view is this would be a CPR fail should they ever issue a claim (though its rectifiable), if they continued with this line someone like Andrew would probably make mincemeat from them

I'd say they're all bluff at the moment

So I've recently been in correspondence with MKRR over an old Barclaycard debt that I only ever received terms and conditions for, after both of us giving our final response they've now passed it over to Raven Recoveries.

Should I send the 'Sold whilst in dispute' letter?

          Thats a scary looking website.

As you will see Raven Recoveries is MKRR and seemingly alot of other ones.

You would think that the OFT after finding its dentures should start taking these multiple companies to task.

Why do they need to do this other than to make it look like they have a new company on the case. Therefore deceive the consumer.

            Hi everyone.

So after sending the reply to their LBA thread and ignoring the rolling deadline date as suggested I've now received a letter from crapquest saying they are going to send a doorstep agent from scotcall, in typical DCA fashion the cut off date to get in contact with them to stop someone coming around was the day the letter arrived!

I'm not usually bothered about a doorstep caller however I don't live at the address anymore but my parents do and it's not ideal them going there, especially as my father suffered a serious brain injury a few years ago so isn't 100%

Is there a rule about home visits to a house with someone with a mental disability or should I just tell them (parents) that if anyone comes there for me to say I don't live there anymore and only come by for my post?

Often the doorstep caller threats are empty threats but I would tell your parents to simply tell them to go away and then close the door if one should call. I wouldn't be going into any explanations.

I agree with Pixie...they very rarely turn up, it's just a threat to make you pay up. Just in case, you could also send the doorstep visit template, with an additional note after the last paragraph saying:
"Furthermore as my father is a vulnerable adult, being ill with a mental disability, I will not tolerate home visits which would cause him considerable distress. I therefore require that all communication is in writing only."

                      Thanks everyone.

Should I send it just to crapquest or should I send one to scotcall too?

I would send to Capquest as they're the ones who have written to you.

Do you have an address for Scotcall? If you have you could send one to them too as they're the ones who may be calling.

So I sent off the letter to Raven Recoveries as advised.

Received another letter from MKDP today saying as previously stated they've satisfied the CCA request and sent the terms and conditions that they are trying to pass off as the CCA again.

Any idea what my next move should be??

4 years today the CCA letters went off! How time flies.

Only update was a letter from capquest telling me they would take all of the phone numbers for me off their system in reply to the threat of doorstep letter I sent, they have also put the account on hold until the end of the month to see what I want to do which is kind of them.
