Ok, so excuse me if I'm missing the point, but what's the deal with the envelope?

Just I got another one the other day (from mercers again but a different account), but didn't even imagine that the envelope could important.

if you've had one from Mercers jaci, its almost a running certainty that is defective in a number of ways. The next step will probably be a deamnd for monies not yet due from Calder Financial which ois the next level of BC thuggery in fact its the desk across the gangway from Mercers understone dwellers. Then it will be a demand for the whole outstanding amount. Which they cnanot do on the back of a defective DN.

Thats is the simple version. The DN issue is very contentious with wide passionate opinions so at the moment it is best to do what Niddy says and just keep the thing duly marked up COMPLETE with envelope. there is one certain MBNA case which fell against the alleged debtor because an envelope had been mixed up in the evidence. we staple ours to the relevant letter.

Ignore it but keep the envelope and add the date received to the actual letter so you never forget. Right now thus isn't an issue. You WANT these defaults as your 6yrs to a clean credit file now starts
