    Hi thanks Swanfan,

    ok probs unlikely they would try it.
    I have been with nat west 3 years now exactly.
    I set this bank a/c up when I went into debt management (was a really bad mistake to go with a paying company) we learn from our mistakes.
    It seems quiet at the moment no letters a few phone calls, but they go on answer anyway - no probs.

      Hi,

      recd letter from Wescot 14/5/12 dated 9/5/12 saying Final Notice threatened legal action and doorstep collection visit. Shall I send harassment & Doorstep Collection letter now? ref: Mint cc (Ue)

        Is the letter actually threatening legal action or is it just listed as one of a number of possible actions?

          Letter says in red Final Notice
          Our latest enq confirmed that you are still at this address.
          Unless you contact us to agree repayment in the next 10 days further collection activity will be taken to recover the full outstanding balance
          Please do not ignore this letter
          . Either us or our client taking legal action against you through the Courts
          . Referring your debt to a Door Step Collection Agency to carry out a collections visit at your home

                19/5/12 letter sent to Wescot ref Mint cc (Ue)
                Threat of Harassment & Doorstep Collection Visit
                and Account Sold whilst in Dispute Letter rolled into One!

                  Hi,

                  received a letter from Credit Security Ltd on 12th June dated 7th June saying we demand the sum stated be sent to this office immediately. Failure to comply could result in a debt collector calling upon you for payment or the account being referred for legal action. ref: HSBC cc (Ue)

                  Do I need to send them a letter? Thanks Butterfly

                          I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website.                                 Didnt know they were a fancy name for Wescot.
                                Wescot have my Mint cc (Ue) as well at present.
