      Hi all,

recd same letter from Wescot today 19/11/11 dated 15/11/11 - Door Step Collection Notice about an appointment to visit my home address.

      ref HSBC cc (Ue)

In2Deep shall I send both letters off to them as with Capital One
Threat of Harassment & Doorstep visit & Account sold whilst in dispute

I think Wescot seem to think they may have a better chance of extracting payment out of me -- but no chance!

      Cheers Butterfly

          Hi

recd letter on 29/11/11 dated 23/11/11 from RMA

ref Mint cc (Ue) saying you have been selected for a settlement offer on your current outstanding balance - only valid for 30 days telephone.

I assume I will just file this one and see what they come up with next?

                          Hi everyone,

not been on for a while as its been really quiet.
4/5/12 recd letter dated 29/4/12 from Wescot saying pay in full or contact us.

Will just file this for now and see what happens next

Has anyone had Nat west offset on a mint cc was Rbs card originally. I know its all going to Santander this year. I wondered if they would try to take it. Its just the money goes in for the mortgage at the end of the month. Could they take it when they all become Santander maybe?

                          Thanks for your help. Butterfly

The mint card is staying with RBS though isn't it? That surely wouldn't affect offsetting.

Which bank is your current account with?

                              Hi Swanfan,
My current a/c is with Nat west. I thought Nat west & Rbs are sister banks.
Mum banks with Rbs and we have both had letters about going to Santander. I have no notification about Rbs (Mint) cc though. Just wondered if anyone had any dealings about it? The banks I cant go to are HSBC and Halifax for sure.

                              Thanks Butterfly

Well they haven't tried so far so it would appear unlikely they will.

However if you're concerned maybe set up another basic account in case?

Looking at who you owe to you've got Co-op, Barclays or Nationwide who you could go to.
