They'll do anything to trick you into admitting the debt!

Wow! Just received November's letter from Cabot.
Our unique offer to you - make any payment on your account and we will triple it !

Let me think about it until the debt goes SB........

Whatever will they offer next month? Maybe an invitation to their staff Xmas party?

They can register it in their own name and as long as the default date is the same it won't make any difference to the date that it falls off your credit report.

Just looked at my Noddle credit report.
The RBS(Mint) default disappeared in last month's report but Cabot have now registered it with the same date.

they sometime work bonus based, so if they manage to get some poor booger to pay something and set up a repayment plan they get a bonus at the end of the month, so it may be due in December, hence the push at the end of Sepetmber onwards

Monthly letter from Cabot received today.
    Please contact us.
If you let us know the details of your monthly income and your bills, we will try to set up a repayment plan that suits you.

I'm happy enough with the one I have at the moment thanks.

The NOA's from Cabot and RBS was June so not sure why Cabot are sending me this covering a period starting 22nd March.
Cabot bought one of mine from RBS in May, and they have just sent me a statement covering the same 6 months period, but I hadn't been getting the half-yearlys from RBS either.

Has anyone else noticed the same thing?
Yup! Mine disappeared on Noddle as well, default due to drop off in January anyway.

When was the default registered with CRAs? It falls off after 6 years

They are legally supposed to supply this information every year. Someone is reading or tidying files! Just ignore.
