    Just an update, you were right i have never heard from Robinson Way again .......

    I received a credit card statement from BofS to say that any funds i have in any other BofS accounts will be used to reduce my debt, that will be hard tho i no longer use BofS

      Right of SetOff - ignore it being you have no other accounts with them!
      I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

        Today i received a letter from Robinson Way Ltd along with a copy of my application form.... whats the best reply for this?

        'Further to your request for a copy agreement in respect of the above account, we now enclose the relevant documents for your immediate attention.

        Please note if an original credit agreement was not available, under the Consumer Credit Acts a reconstituted copy may be provided.

        We need to hear from you with your proposals for settlement of your account which is long overdue for payment, within 10 days.

            Thanks for that Niddy....

            posted the letter recorded delivery and this was the response i got

            'We refer to the above account, which will no longer be managed by this office.

            All future payments and correspondence must be sent to our client, directly. If you were paying us by standing order, please cancel that instruction and set up a new standing order to pay our client.

            Thank you for your co-operation.

                I have received this letter from Bank of Scotland today.... Any help would be greatly appreciated

                'We are writing to notify you that Halifax Bank of Scotland plc has assigned all of its respective rights, title and interest in respect of the above referenced account (including the outstanding balance) to Westcot SPV Ltd, effective 30th November 2011.

                The total balance sold was £6922.86, as at the date of sale 7th September 2011. Any payments made towards your account after the 7th September will be forwarded to Wescot SPV Ltd and will be deducted from the balance shown above.

                Under the terms of this assignment, as as defined in the Data Protection Act 1099, Westcot SPV Ltd, is now the Data Controller of your Personal Data contained in the records of this account.

                Westcot Credit Services Ltd has been appointed by Westcot SPV Ltd, to manage your account and it is essential that all future payments and correspondence regarding this account be directed to:

                    I just wondered if this was different to what previously happened as this is the first time BofS has written to me with this information previously its just been DCA writing to me.

                              Did I not read earlier that Wescot had already written a letter of apology to you saying they had acted in good faith on information provided by their client?

                              Having said that to you how have they managed to buy this debt - I know they're pretty stupid but come on??

                                Dont worry about BOS they passed my account round a number of DCA numpties eventually they took me to court but changed their minds after CPR.They like to up the ante and wind you up. keep the faith.
