    Do I ignore this? My last payment was 16/12/13, I should be statute barred by the end of this year, I don't want to keep ignoring letters and jeopardise anything. Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for your reply, I'll send a short letter this time as you suggest, I've had surgery in June of this year and was out of action for a little while, out of all my accounts this is the only one sending letters, in December I'll be a whole 5 years into this journey, seems like yesterday I was sending the CCA requests....

    Maybe write and tell them to send Sherlock this time.

    could just send a short letter saying you are still awaiting a reply to your CCA request from 2014, while this is the case it would not be in anyones interest to send a representative, unless he wishes to speak to your neighbour again,

    Or just ignore again

    Finally brought my post up to date, letter received from Moorcroft offering a substantial discount and also telling me I'm going to get a doorstep agent visit. The last time I ignored this letter 01/12/17 they sent a Mr Holmes while I was at work and he spoke to my neighbours - any advice please?

    No problem, just that if somthing was to happen then when you came back on we wouldnt have the full history to make a helpfull reply,
    It also helps any newbys who are searching for advice know how things sometimes follow a set pattern

    20/09/18 To date this year I have had over 10 letters from Moorcroft requesting payment, insisting I fill in income and expenditure, then statements like 'this will now be passed for more serious debt collection activities'. I am 2 months away from a whole 5 years into this journey, 14 months to statute barred and counting.

    Do I just keep filing these letters away?

    25/09/17 Letter from Debt Managers Ltd, (I've ignored monthly one's since March 17), they state Next Directory are unaware of any dispute on this account and haven't received any contact from me at all. They have enclosed a copy of my Credit agreement (the same one I have had twice before in 2014) also they have attached a statement, only they haven't attached mine, the one I have belongs to a chap down South (full details from them too) and not mine!!!!

    01/10/17 Copy of SWID 11/04/14 sent with a one liner of their acknowledgement
    Letter received from Debt Managers, they have received a response from Next who state they do not have a signed copy of my credit agreement therefore have provided a blank version which was issued to me in due course on 17th January 2014. They are happy that the debt is now overdue and payable by return, they've sent an Income/Expenditure form to assist them decide my repayment. Think I'll ignore this one and wait for the follow up?

    You could make a formal complaint about their uninvited rep being rude to your dear old neighbour.

    They were sending a "field recovery agent" to visit me, all the fields are still there, they didn't take one!

    does the letter say they will visit OR Will CALL,if it says call they normally phone , it is very rare that anyone turns up, if someone does you do not need to even speak to them, they have no powers what so ever. That is why they can't recover anything.
    I do love that line " Assist in establishing contact with head office". they phone the office and pass the phone to you.

    They were sending a "field recovery agent" to visit me, all the fields are still there, they didn't take one!
