Not quite sure what's gone on with this account but it appears that Bank of Ireland has simply written off the debt.

It would seem that you established via the DMP that you could only afford £1 per month, and haven't even been paying that for the past 3.5 years. In view of the relatively small sum outstanding, and the likelihood of getting a meaningful repayment being virtually non-existent, they must have taken that decision.

It is quite possible that the account is now in the process of being assigned (sold) to a debt purchaser. Sometimes it can take quite some time for the changes to be shown. Are you still making the token payments or have you stopped?

Patience is a great asset, it is their debt they are chasing so leave them to do all the work whilst you live you one life!
