    I won’t be opening the door if they do! Hopefully I will be at work if they decide to try again!

    Yes it would be a second visit. Surely it costs them more than they recover?! It’s definitely round two with these as it was passed to them once before and then passed back. Thank you for your message it always makes me feel a bit better

    Bless them making sure you are well no doubt? no need to talk to them except request they shut the gate on departure, they leave a invitation to make a contact with an office- bin it! end of visit - no powers just a local trying to make a living by posting cards?

    Thank you for your advice. Resolve call have visited me before but I didn’t answer the door and you are right in that they pushed a card through the door.
    It does make me wonder why they would go to that expense really for little gain.
    I will keep my diary updated.
    Incidentally BPO texted me as I was updating this yesterday asking me to get in touch. They have been instructed before but ended up passing it back again!

    Hi,

    Ok, so the relevant facts are;

    1. Repeated insinuation of Court action;
    2. No Court action to date despite insinuation; and
    3. Resolvecall instructed.

    Court action is not supposed to be intimated unless it is a genuine consideration. Continued reference to, yet lack thereof, indicates the 'lender' is aware the same is not possible, for many reasons including unenforceability.

    Resolvecall are not bailiffs. They can't be, there is no judgment to be enforced. Its likely someone has been instructed to post a card through your letter box to 'reconnect' you with the 'lender'. An episode of long lost family it is not.

    Monitor the situation and keep us all informed.

    If needs be, we are a telephone call away. Do not let it play on your mind.

    No it’s not subject to county court. They keep threatening further action, however I have previously requested CCAs for all my debts and ones that have managed to provide appear not to be enforceable

    Is the debt subject to a Court Judgment? If not, are they, or have they, threatened to issue legal proceedings at all?
