Mortimer Clarke discontinued court proceeding after what seems like 6 months. Well done to Jo/Di/Colin and the team once again. 42k Debts pretty much now 0. Have to sit tight for 2 years for Statute Barred but jobs pretty much done.

Indeed last two with Mortimer Clarke. I suspect the active one in claims will be defeated, then there dare not take the other to court i suspect.

You've reached the halfway mark for the debts to become Statute Barred, but you may not have to wait another three years to be free of this situation if everything goes according to plan

Just updating record for 2021 belated 2021 guys.
From 42k debts now sitting at around 10k on the books open for 2 HSBC debts both with Mortimer Clarke one pending actions waiting for another win.
Hoping to end this journey in 2021.
Best tips change your mobile number if they have your mobile. For my LandLine SkyShield blocked all of that lovely calls. Hold out, 3 official years for my golden 6 years.

Hi Di,
No formal court paperwork yet. Its against the current account, but they do have the current and loan. The letters at this stage are contact us within 30 days.
So I guess 6 weeks before they issue a court claim if they are going that far.

Was that letter from Mortimer Clarke a formal Letter of Claim? If so email it to me.
Was it for the HSBC loan or current account overdraft?
Your previous claim from Hoist was won, so let's get the paperwork for these debts together now in case Cabot Financial (UK) Ltd decide to issue on these ones.

They have two HSBC accounts one a loan and another a current account. I had my first letter from Mortimer Clarke for one of the accounts. Asking for me to get in-touch in 30 days. I assume they be sending the same letter for the other account also. I assume therefore in 30-60 days they may raise papers for court action. We will see. Could well be another case coming your way Di therefore after.

There doing a count down to when they pass to there legal team 14 days to go said the last test.
Yes its Cabot Financial (UK) but yes it looks like they gearing up to have a go at the two accounts, loan and current account.

Did Cabot carry out their threat to instruct solicitors last month?
I can see you sent a CCA Request in August 2017 but I can't see what response you received from HSBC (if any).

Was the account assigned to Cabot Financial (UK) Ltd which is not authorised by the FCA to issue legal proceedings ?
