    Lloyds Credit Card
Limit increased to 10k over the years - Taken July 05
    Enforceable CCA - Niddy checked
    Outstanding balance - 13500
    Default - Nov 2009
    Nothing paid since Sept 2009
DCA - Was Apex Credit Management, went back to Lloyds, then Robinson Way Ltd, then IQOR
I have tidied up my credit files so i guess it was always going to happen that the correspondance would start again...

    Letter received from Lloyds.

Your account with Lloyds with a balance due for payment was sold to Lowell Portfolio Ltd by us ....this letter is to give you notice of assignment of the debt.....Lowell Portfolio Ltd are now legal owners of the debt and any payment should be made to them, not us or any of our appointed agents....Contact details are included for 1 Apex View address.

Attached to this letter is a letter from Lowell, introducing themselves and asking me to call them.....

This is a much more polite letter than i'm used to...Any advice / What should i do?

From my credit file it looks as if Lowell have bought all 3 of my Lloyds debts....so i'm expecting more letters in the coming days

    Thanks in advance.

    This may be tricky,

I would write to callcredit again, addressing your letter to the Data Controller. Explain that you have no association with that address and never have and that this data is incorrect. Remind them that they are the data controller and responsible for incorrect data entries and will be aware of the penalties for posting false data. Give them 7 days to respond or you will report them to the ICO.

But be prepared it could be a long fight.

No post for a while so i thought to tidy up my credit file.

equifax did a disassociation no problem but i am having trouble with callcredit.

my ex partner and i paid up on our joint mortgage in 2008 at address y.

this was our only joint finance.

she subsequently moved into her mums house, address z

    address z has made its way onto my credit file without me ever having a connection. i have asked callcredit to remove the address but;

'after investigation the organisation did not authorise the removal of the address link therefore it must remain on your credit report'

lloyds current a/c, lloyds personal loans, lloyds card services....have all got me linked to that address

any advice on how to have the address removed from file?

I double checked the letter dates at the time of posting. I remember thinking 'f@@k' when the copy CCA was received...but i sigh of relief when the next letter came.

It's stressful trying to deal with a mountain of debt hence why i end up leaving everything to mount up. Trying to start 2013 on the best foot and get everything upto date, correspondence sent etc before the festivities.

    Everyones help is much appreciated

    Thanks,

Any thing to send to MKDP or should i sit tight? First time a DCA has sent me an enforceable copy of my CCA
Eh? So they sent an enforceable CCA, and then a month later sent a 'still unable to resolve your query' letter?

They obviously haven't got a clue what they are doing. As before, wait to see what they send next.

July '12 - Letter received from GPB notifying me they have been contacted by IQOR and 'MAY commence legal proceedings..'
August '12 - Letter from GPB 'Legal action pending...county court claim MAY be issued... ' Possible court costs listed.
August '12 - Letter from Lloyds notifying transfer of debt to Wescot
August '12 - Wescot notifying they have been instructed by Lloyds to recover the debt.
September '12 - Letter from Wescot confirming their records show me at the address and i have not responded. Contact us to pay within 10 days...
September '12 - Nelson Guest Solicitors on behalf of Wescot. 'Wescot is prepared to offer you a 50% discount to settle your account...£6700.. offer valid until ...or will withdraw offer and continue to recover the full outstanding balance'

Is there anything to send / if there is, who should i send it to? Obviously i have no ability or intention to settle for anything like 50%. Statute barred after 6yrs is much more appealing

    Thanks in advance

Have you received anything since September? If not, definitely leave well alone. Wasteclot are one of the most useless of all the DCAs, and the fact that their pseudo-licitors were offering 50% discounts means this is not heading to court any time soon.

Wait until you receive another threat before you do anything else.

The reason i'm keen on updating contact details is the old address is my mums... She wasn't impressed when the council tax baliffs turned up once over!

    Thanks in advance,
