    Re: Amex-Charge card

    Hi Niddy
Got a letter this morning from AE .Telling me they have been trying to contact me(once) and have been unsuccessful.
If I want the info I must either phone them or if not send a copy of my passport and a utility bill to their Data Protection Office(Yea right!)
What response template should I send or wait and see?
I used adigitally signed requested SAR by the way.

Yes, do not call them whatever you do!

Await the SAR - thats it.

    Hi Grey Matter,
Yes they're correct- the SAR should go to the original company, the DCA won't have the records you need.

Last time I looked, the address was:

    The Data Controller,
    AMERICAN EXPRESS EUROPE LIMITED
    AMEX HOUSE
    EDWARD STREET
    BRIGHTON
    BN88 1AH

    kind regards,
    Shep x

Received letter back from the DCA telling me to contact AE with the SAR.They returned my £10 PO.
Is this correct and if so is there a contact name/position and address for AE Europe SAR that I should resubmit to?
